We frequently receive DMs seeking assistance from people who are directly impacted by Israel’s genocide. UNRWA and various other organizations have provided support to the residents of Gaza, a region under blockade by Israel—often described as an open-air prison. However, due to the effects of over ten countries (including Japan) defunding UNRWA and the fact that Israel controls the entry of resources and funds into the region, an intentional starvation of the people in Gaza persists.
Whether it be to obtain food or evacuate to Egypt, people living in Gaza are in need of funds. In order to ensure that funds are reaching the people in Gaza, please donate by following these steps!

▲写真は自撮りではなく、誰かに頼んで撮影してもらったもの。自撮りは加工されやすく、本人確認に適していませ ん。自撮りカメラと外部カメラを切り替えて自分とガザの風景を動画で映したものは、偽造されている可能性があり ます。このような場合には、再度写真を送ってもらうよう頼みます。
To verify the recipient in Gaza, request to provide two types of photographs
[ ] First ask for their full name
[ ] A photograph of their identification (ID card, passport, or other identification) and ID of family members if necessary
[ ] A photograph of the person/people who will receive the funds with Gaza’s current scenery as the backdrop.
The background should clearly show scenes that can be identified as Gaza, such as (but not limited to) inside or outside tents, or damaged buildings.
▲The photos should not be selfies, but taken by a third party. Selfies can easily be edited and therefore are unsuitable for confirming the identity of the person. Videos that could likely be fabricated include those that switch between the selfie camera showing the person and regular camera showing the scenery in Gaza. In such cases, ask the person to send a different photograph.
